HOMETOWN ANIMAL CARE Pflugerville, Texas (512) 251-2242 THE CAT PALACE, located at Hometown Animal Care, is the most comfortable and relaxing home away from home for our feline friends. As you enter The Cat Palace, you see beautiful French doors on each suite that opens up to their own "living room" with a full length window facing either our waiting area downstairs or facing the beautiful outdoors. We have furnished The Cat Palace with comfy cat sized furniture and window hammocks. We have also provided a ledge for those that might be a bit shy. This provides them the option to snuggle behind the couch rather than on top! The décor of each suite is unique with its own personality - including our Elvis Suite - all that is required of your cat is to eat, sleep, and be happy ;-) No Cage Environment! At Hometown Animal Care we know that cat when you go out of town boarding your cat can be stressful for both you and your cat. That is why we have created a no cage environment at The Cat Palace. We have done our best to make it look and feel as much like home as possible. Our Cat Palace is also a no dog zone. Because it is located upstairs above our cat waiting area there is total peace and quiet for them to do what they do best-we want to make sure they are able to get in those 20 hours of sleep they require! 
There are 17 cat suites available, two of which are double in size for our large families. Because we are a full service veterinary hospital as well, this makes for an excellent environment for young and old alike. If your pet has any special needs or medications, we are able to provide that for them as well. Our staff members look forward to caring for our guests upstairs as it is such a peaceful place to work. They monitor your cats eating habits and body functions twice daily. They also let every cat out (upstairs and one at a time of course!) to explore while "housekeeping" is being done. Just another added measure to ensure they are having a great experience during their visit. We at Hometown Animal Care would love for you to come by, meet us and take a tour of The Cat Palace. It is by far the most unique and accommodating boarding facility available for cats in the Austin, Round Rock, and Pflugerville area.
RATES The rates for The Cat Palace at Hometown Animal Care are $ 19.50/per night. If you would like to pick up your pet on Sunday, we offer a boarding pick up only from 3:30-4:30. The fee to pick up on Sunday is $10.50. Two or more cats that share the same room receive a 10% discount on their daily rate. Unlike most boarding facilities we do not charge additional fees for administering oral/topical medications or play time. If your cat is diabetic we are able to administer their daily insulin, however due to the time and level of monitoring they require, we must charge an additional fee for this type of care. Reservations and Availability To check on availability and to make a reservation call us at Hometown Animal Care, (512) 251-2242. Keep in mind that weekends and holidays book up very quickly so call and make your reservation for boarding your cat as soon as possible. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 2pm. We also offer a Sunday boarding pick up only from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.
The Cat Palace provides the most charming and luxurious accomodations available for your cat. Your precious kitty will enjoy his or her own unique hotel room in our upstairs "cats only" area-no cages! Every room is warmly decorated with it's own kitty-sized furniture to help your cat feel completely relaxed and at home. Every room also has a large window, so choose a view for your cat -- either overlooking the lovely reception lobby on the cat side, or overlooking the lush green lawn behind the main building.

require all cats to be current on their annual vaccinations when
staying with us at The Cat Palace. Our Veterinarians will be
